In selecting a CRM system, Cosalt’s primary aim was to provide
a high standard of service to customers and suppliers. A key objective
was to develop a centralised information database that could be
effectively shared across their teams. “We wanted to achieve
total visibility for customer contact, a one stop solution that
would link service, sales and marketing communications.” John

Cosalt carried out an in-depth review of CRM systems
and Gold-Vision stood out due to the functionality offered by different
modules and the flexibility to tailor the system to Cosalt’s
requirements, whilst still representing a cost effective solution.
“From an IT perspective, Gold-Vision appeared to be very intuitive,
it used a SQL database and did not involve a local client install.
We also completed a lot of research with existing Gold-Vision clients
and this was very positive.”

services team are able to develop profiling of customers and suppliers
contributing to improved service levels. Marketing are able to measure
campaigns effectively and Sales have full visibility of customer
history. In addition Cosalt has been able to integrate their Gold-Vision
CRM system with other back-office systems in more detail than originally
planned which has proved extremely beneficial. Cosalt is also looking
to open up the system for their finance department to utilise the
CRM database.
